Resolve to Run in 2022

Is running part of your New Year’s resolution for 2022?

If so, make your commitment to keep you inspired to run by registering for the May 7, 2022 Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k. Register before Jan. 1 and save $5 on the race that has been described as “like running in a cathedral in the woods.”

The 13.1-mile course is run entirely on the closed, paved roads of Peninsula State Park, with incredible course support to help first-time runners get to the finish line. Eight eight stations staffed by local volunteers keep you fueled and motivated, and 2,000 fellow runners encourage you on to your goal.

All half marathon finishers get a long-sleeve race shirt, finisher’s medal, and free beer from One Barrel Brewing Co. at the finish line. Shuttles take runners from park-and-ride locations or directly from sponsor lodging facilities, leaving you to focus on running your best race.

Runners can sign up before Jan. 1 for just $65 – that’s $15 off race-day registration fees.

“I have run several races – and quite honestly this is the one of the best supported run ever. You do an EXCELLENT JOB on all levels. The support is amazing. The volunteers exceptional. I have ZERO complaints or suggestions.”

Sara Frizelle

“I have done a few half marathons around the midwest and this is by far the best. The organization and communication is fantastic and so are the facilities and race perks. The route is also ideal: starting flat, allowing for the body to acclimate ; followed by a steep incline and then down hill once the body gets a little fatigued. I love it!”

Margaret Pennoyer

“I’ve raced all over the world and The Door County Half Marathon is one of my favorites.  It’s very well organized, it’s in the heart of beautiful and peaceful Door County, and the course rolls through some of the most picturesque half marathon miles in the world.”
